1. About Swift Trade Pros

Swift Trade Pros ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a lead referral service based in Elgin, IL. We operate a platform that connects homeowners seeking plumbing services with licensed, insured local plumbing contractors ("Contractor Partners"). We are not a licensed plumbing company and do not perform plumbing work. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Homeowner Terms

2.1 Service Description. When you submit a service request, we work to connect you with one available local plumber who serves your ZIP code and matches your job type. We do not guarantee a plumber will be available at any given time.

2.2 No Guarantee of Service. Swift Trade Pros facilitates introductions only. We make no guarantee about the quality, pricing, timing, or outcome of any plumbing work performed by a Contractor Partner. Any service agreement is made directly between you and the plumber.

2.3 Accuracy of Information. You agree to provide accurate contact and job information. Submitting false or misleading information may result in your request being disqualified.

2.4 No Fee to Homeowners. Submitting a service request through Swift Trade Pros is free. You are under no obligation to hire any plumber we connect you with.

3. Contractor Partner Terms

3.1 Eligibility. To participate as a Contractor Partner, you must hold an active Illinois plumbing license, carry general liability insurance at a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence, and operate within our service area. You represent and warrant that all information provided in your application is accurate and current.

4. Definition of a Qualified Lead

A "Qualified Lead" is defined as a homeowner submission that meets ALL of the following criteria:

  • The homeowner provided a valid, working phone number
  • The homeowner's ZIP code falls within the Contractor's registered service area
  • The job type matches at least one service category the Contractor has opted into
  • The submission was not a duplicate of a lead already delivered to the same Contractor within 30 days

A lead is not disqualified solely because the homeowner did not book or respond to a callback attempt. Homeowner availability and follow-through are outside our control.

5. Lead Delivery and Payment

5.1 Delivery. A lead is considered delivered at the moment the homeowner's contact information is transmitted to the Contractor Partner by phone, text, or email — regardless of whether the Contractor successfully reaches the homeowner.

5.2 No Refunds on Delivered Leads. All delivered leads are non-refundable. By receiving a lead, the Contractor acknowledges that Swift Trade Pros has fulfilled its obligation. No refund or credit will be issued because a homeowner did not answer, did not book, chose another contractor, or was not reachable after initial delivery.

5.3 Credit Eligibility. A lead credit may be issued at our sole discretion only if: (a) the phone number provided was invalid or disconnected at the time of delivery; (b) the homeowner's ZIP code was demonstrably outside the Contractor's registered service area; or (c) the same homeowner contact was delivered to the same Contractor within the prior 30 days. Credit requests must be submitted within 48 hours of lead delivery.

5.4 Pricing. Lead pricing is established during onboarding and may be updated with 14 days written notice to active Contractor Partners.

6. Contractor Obligations

6.1 Response Time. Contractor Partners agree to make a good-faith effort to contact delivered leads within 30 minutes during their registered active hours.

6.2 Professional Conduct. Contractors agree to treat all homeowners with professionalism, provide honest estimates, and disclose their license and insurance upon request.

6.3 Exclusivity of Lead Information. Lead contact information is provided exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the homeowner's service request. Contractors may not sell, share, or redistribute homeowner contact information to any third party.

6.4 Termination. Swift Trade Pros reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Contractor Partner's account for failure to meet response standards, customer complaints, or misuse of lead information.

7. Limitation of Liability

Swift Trade Pros is a referral intermediary only. We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any plumbing work performed by Contractor Partners. Our total liability to any party for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Disputes

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing legal action.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Active Contractor Partners will be notified of material changes with 14 days notice. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
